Events

In recent years, Royal Pelican Yacht Club has held  many successful events from open houses, wine tasting, dinner theater parties,  barbecues and other fun activities.  We are excited to present the new calendar on the Events Page.

Located at Pelican Harbor:

Situated on the Intracoastal Waterway midway between the Boca Inlet and the Boynton Inlet, we are surrounded on three sides by water.  Home to over 200 residents, Pelican Harbor is our Host community and the place we call “Home Port”.  From here we are equidistant from Bimini and West End making for a relatively easy passage of approximately 65 miles to either location.

As the social arm of the community, the RPYC hosts numerous land-based activities throughout the year.

Two of our “signature” events:

• “Blessing of the Fleet”, held in January and
  “Commodore’s Ball” held in late winter

Far less formal, but equally as fun and pleasant we have our Memorial Day picnic and Fourth of July picnic and Fireworks. Boat trips include jaunts up and down the coast and to the Bahamas.

The Royal Pelican Yacht Club web site is your source for news and information about club activities and other things nautical.  You will find access to a “membership application”, current ”Event Flyers” and a photo archive available on the old web.  Use the link on the navigation pane for access. 

• New Addition is our “Web Calendar”, which appears on every page.  Just hover over the highlighted dates and you will see the activities listed!

Also, please see the list of events and the contact person for each activity on the Events Page.   Events are open to all Pelican Harbor Residents.  A small guest fee will be allocated for all nonmember guests.
